1000% for everything!! Everything exceeded my expectations! Thank you very much Jim and Phyllis for the great hospitality that me and my friend received. Very spacious place, massive bathroom, shower, Sauna and spa, very quiet country atmosphere. Anyone who's an athlete looking for a quite weekend to get away from city life and unwind this is the perfect place.
Beautiful bed & breakfast! The hosts wee really friendly and accommodating. They've done an awesome job with furnishing their place, the gym, sauna etc. The breakfast was super delicious!! I don't think I've ever slept so well, the bed was fantastic!!
Had the pleasure of staying at Waiuku Bed & Breakfast in December 2021 whilst attending a Christmas event. Our group were over the moon at both the beauty of the surroundings, room layout and amenities on site. We made use of both the sauna and spa and breakfast was both plentiful and delicious. We would all recommend a stay at this accommodation, you would not be disappointed. Our host Phyllis was the consummate host. She was on hand with answers to our numerous questions and made us all feel very special. We would all recommend spending time at this very special place.
A bit of heaven in the New Zealand countryside - a perfect spot for some peace and quiet just a brief ride outside of Auckland. The house is modern, smart and tastefully furnished and the rooms have all of the modern modcons. Mornings start with birdsong and are accompanied by great breakfasts (why isn't New Zealand yogurt a style?). Phyllis and Jim are excellent and attentive hosts with deep knowledge of the local scene - ask to see Jim's collection of fire badges that he's accumulated from fire stations around the globe.
We booked the 3 rooms and I can't say one bad thing, the rooms are amazing the master bedroom has the biggest bed I've ever seen! and great bathrooms. Jim & Phyllis are such great hosts and put on amazing breakfast every morning and coffee. And the house is on such amazing property. We will definitely be coming back again

Superb accommodation and very very friendly hosts. Perfect location, near town yet in the country. Great place to take a rural walk in the morning or afternoon. Very handy to Kariotahi Beach without having to drive through town. Very comfortable bed and great amenities, very private. Would recommend a stay there to anyone :)

An amazing weekend getaway!
Our family had such a wonderful and relaxing time at your stunning home, with nature surrounding your property! We used the incredible sauna & spa, which was the cherry on top! soo.... relaxing. The Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a selection of items and beverages! The Rooms were absolutely beautiful, spacious, luxurious and clean with the comfiest beds and lovely bathrooms.

This is the 4th time staying with Phyl and Jim and I’m sure each time gets better and better. I haven’t slept so well or woken pain free for months and the divine bed and sheets are the most luxurious I’ve had. The accommodation and grounds are stunning, the spa and sauna are amazing, this place is serenity at its finest! But also not to forget the breakfast, this caters for everyone’s needs and is scrumptious. Thank you so much we love staying with you.

We stayed at this beautiful place while in Waiuku for a close family bereavement. We rang quite late the first night and it was not a problem at all to arrive in the dark, quite stressed and very tired. We stayed for 6 nights. Nothing was an issue. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable at a very sad time. The grounds are beautiful and calming. The spa and sauna were a blessing. The breakfasts are yum. The birds, cows, chickens and bunny rabbits were entertaining. We would not stay anywhere else in Waiuku. Can’t thank them enough. Arohanui Lisa, Adrian and Brady.
Jim & Phyllis were incredibly welcoming, helpful and even offered to drop us off at Castaway for a wedding celebration. It’s a great rural getaway, the airbnb area is attached to the house but private and spacious. The breakfast was awesome too.

We stayed for my brothers wedding, and wow what a place! Set in tranquil countryside with roaming chickens and cows! The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds so comfy! The house inside is very well maintained, clean and tidy. The host Phyllis and Jim are wonderful people. They truly make you feel welcome and part of the family. They even brought out their children’s old toys for my 3 year old niece to play with. We were given advice and tips on local attractions and even invited to the local Crossfit gym that Phyllis is a member of, I wish I had brought my gym gear!
Overall a great stay and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!
Such a lovely welcoming couple and the perfect hosts. They have a beautiful property and you will not be disappointed. Phyllis does the most amazing breakfast and Jim is fill of amazing stories. They are the perfect hosts, and will chat to you, or give you complete privacy. We look forward to catching up with Jim and Phyllis again in the future.
Just spent the weekend with Jim and Phyllis while attending my dads 90th. Wow! The property is tranquil, quiet and huge. Our hosts were phenomenal, so welcoming, helpful and so much fun to talk to.... The rooms were way above spectacular! Seriously! The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in and huge, I couldn't find my husband all night!. The whole place was plush with incredible furnishing, linen and food/drink. I actually didn't want to leave. The best accommodation I've ever stayed in. Thank you both so much for having us.

Absolute relaxation from the moment you drive into the property! Highly recommended as a get away from the busy Auckland/stressful life. Jim & Phyllis were amazing hosts who were so helpful, absolute delight to talk to and made our two night stay as relaxed as it can be. What a marvellous pace to stay. Jim and Phyll were the nicest hosts, and made us feel like we were members of their own family coming to stay. We were a family of 6, and every one of us loved our stay. The beds were super comfortable, the house was modern, stylish and clean, the grounds were beautiful and the hosts were attentive and interesting. Our family enjoyed stargazing out on the deck before turning in for the night. Thank you very very much for a lovely stay, topped by a scrumptious breakfast.
Amazing place, beautiful surroundings, lovely rooms and facilities, and delicious breakfast. The location is excellent, it is just a few minutes drive from the centre of Waiuku but feels like a whole world away. The most gracious hospitable hosts you could ever wish for.

Excellent experience at very stylish Bed & Breakfast. This has class not often seen in New Zealand. Think of it as Harrods quality with relaxed easy going charm at a reasonable tariff. You'll not be disappointed at this establishment.
